Vivo V30 series smartphones with Zeiss optics launched in India: Details


On March 7, Vivo unveiled the Vivo V30 series in India, featuring the Vivo V30 and V30 Pro smartphones. With the V30 Pro, Vivo has expanded its collaboration with Zeiss, introducing advanced camera features typically reserved for its flagship X-series smartphones. Available in Andaman Blue and Classic Black, the V30 Pro offers enhanced photography capabilities. Meanwhile, the standard V30, offered in Peacock Green, showcases a unique color-shifting effect on its back panel when exposed to varying angles of light.

The Vivo V30 and V30 Pro boast identical specs, sporting a 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display (2800 x 1260 pixels), HDR10+ support, and a 120Hz refresh rate. Both devices operate on Funtouch OS 14, a custom skin built on Android 14.

Both the Vivo V30 and V30 Pro boast a 5,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. Additionally, they're equipped with an IP54 rating, offering dust and splash resistance, allowing them to endure light water splashes, but not full submersion.

The Vivo V30 runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, along with the Adreno 720 GPU for managing graphics-intensive tasks. It offers up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage.


In terms of photography, the Vivo V30 boasts a triple camera setup, featuring a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP portrait sensor. On the front, there's a 50MP f/2.0 sensor with dual soft LED flash support.

As previously mentioned, the Vivo V30 Pro boasts a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, similar to its counterpart. However, it distinguishes itself with the MediaTek 8200 chipset and Mali-G610MC6 GPU. The V30 Pro supports up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

The Vivo V30 Pro is equipped with a triple camera setup on the rear, comprising a 50MP Sony IMX920 primary sensor with OIS, a 50MP telephoto lens offering 2x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultra-wide angle sensor. Additionally, it sports a 50MP front-facing camera with an f/2.0 aperture and a 119-degree field of view (FoV).
